3 Major Causes of Demonic Business Failure

The Devil has three ways of creating demonic business failure; they all occur in your mind. Today we are going to expose his three methods. The Bible tells us that my people perish for lack of knowledge. Knowing the attacks of the enemy in advance will help you avoid traps, circumvent delays, bypass tremendous amounts of pain, and ultimately avoid the destruction the devil seeks to bring to your life and business.

Enemy #1 – Distraction

"demonic business failure"Opportunities, events, and potential can distract you from your primary focus. You must be clear on your mission and your objectives at all times. Everything you do must get approved through not only God but through the lens of, “does this coincide with my mission and objectives at this time?”

Sometimes the enemy of God’s “best” is your “good.” Just because something looks good doesn’t mean that you should pursue it. We have seen the greatest results for our clients when they have clarity and focus on their mission and daily objectives. Entrepreneurs often take on multiple projects at once to create multiple income streams and then wonder why all of them seem to be struggling.

I have found in my life I cannot successfully show up 100% for more than 3 things at this time in my life.

My 3 things are:

1. Fully present with my family

2. Active and participating in my local church

3. All in on the Kingdom vision for our Camp and Conference center

For this current season of my life, if things don’t fit in those buckets or it’s not something I’ve said I want in my life, it doesn’t get my time or attention.

At some point, you will have to delegate the tasks in your home, in your business, and in other areas of life because your time is becoming more valuable. The more successful you become, the more time is required with God in order to stay grounded, hear him, and steward what He speaks to you.

Enemy #2 – Discouragement

The reality of being an entrepreneur requires that you experience failure at times. Not everything you try will be successful. Sometimes marketing will flop, a product doesn’t sell, and unexpected expenses can pop up.

This is where the devil likes to bring heaviness, oppression, depression, and discouragement. If he can do that, he can stop you from leaping over the failure hurdles in your race.

We must understand that failure and challenges are pre-requisite for success. Failure is a teacher of what doesn’t work. Failure is a character development tool. Failure is a motivating factor when you view it as a stepping stone to success.

Failure teaches you that you have an opportunity to improve, get better, get stronger, and ultimately identify greater as a Son of King Jesus.

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.” – Psalm 55:22

Jesus experienced failures and discouragement too. The rich young ruler failed to follow Jesus when they met. Jesus feels frustrated (not 100% sure about discouragement to be honest) when his disciples could not cast out a demon in Mathew 17.

One way the enemy brings demonic business failure is by creating a mismatch between your expectations and reality.

If he can get you focused on things not going exactly the way you want or hitting the numbers you expected, it will produce discouragement. This is why we must do business led by the Holy Spirit.

Our job is obedience and action, the results and increase are up to God; doesn’t he make the crops of the field grow too?

Enemy #3 – Deception

This enemy is very insidious, and we hate it! We have seen too many entrepreneurs fall into doubt of what God has for them, doubt who they are, and doubt their God-given abilities.

The hard thing is that when you’re deceived, you don’t know you’re deceived! This enemy often piggybacks off of discouragement.

The enemy will produce distractions that produce delays, that bring discouragement, that leads into deception of the lie that “things aren’t working out” or “happening when or how I wanted them to,” which ultimately leads to the death of your vision. aka failure to launch!

The Bible doesn’t promise because you put God first that everything will always work out 100% of the time. Biblical-based business principles do bring success, but it is not a guarantee for perfection at all times.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

We must choose not to doubt when our results do not line up with our missions and what we believe to be true.

Faith is needed in order to move through discouragement and combat deception. The fastest way to get victory over deception is to ask yourself or look up, “What does the Bible say about my situation?”

If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and thetruth will set you free.” – John 8:31-32

When you know the truth, you have a decision to make. Will you choose to believe God’s word or will you reject the truth because of your circumstances? When you put your faith into fear that things are not going to work out, that gives greater life to the lies of deception.

The reality is most people need some training, support, or a coach but our culture doesn’t celebrate that, they make it look like a weakness. The reality is the Kingdom Way is the counterintuitive strength and secret advantage of the believer!

“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

Regardless of these enemies that bring demonic business failure, you must choose to stand on the firm foundation of the word of God.

Additionally, ask yourself, “what are possible solutions to my problem? Are my systems working correctly?

Is my marketing message effectively communicating with the right audience? Is there room for improvement within my team/staff.” These questions are not used to produce blame but provide some practical guidance to making adjustments and decisions. When you look into these things pray and ask the Lord for wisdom and guidance on what to change.

“The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time.” – Psalm 34:19

God is in the business of you succeeding and overcoming the enemy. He has overcome everything in the world, and you can also through Him. He provides wisdom and guidance for your business growth and effective marketing communication.
